BOSTON, October 23, 2023 – Yellow Wood Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm focused on investing in consumer brands and companies, announced today that it has named Kathy O’Brien as Operating Partner. She brings over 30 years of experience as a consumer marketing executive.
Ms. O’Brien served from 1984 to September 2018 in roles of increasing responsibility in the food and personal care sectors at Unilever. At Unilever, she most recently served as Vice President/General Manager, Skin & Marketing Services, and was a North America Leadership Team member. She was involved with the Dove business for many years and was responsible for building brand equity and executing Dove's brand activation plans in the United States. She has served as a board member for ZO Skin Health and currently serves on the board of AMAG Pharmaceuticals, a publicly traded pharmaceutical company and Tabula Rasa HealthCare, a publicly traded healthcare technology company. Kathy holds a B.A. in economics from Boston College and an M.B.A. from Columbia University.
